The Harvard Scholarship Foundation Germany e.V. funds committed students with German background by offering financial aid to support their studies at Harvard University.
Whom do we support:
Undergraduate or Graduate students who are motivated by the impact their studies might have on society. We are looking for socially committed students willing to engage with and contribute to the Harvard Community throughout their studies and thereafter.
We are especially interested to fund students who are unable to finance their studies at Harvard without financial help.
How we can support:
Our scholarship will be available as an interest free loan. Repayment conditions can be agreed upon based on individual needs. We also support the purchasing of text books, preparatory exams or other relevant expenditures.
Your application:
- Motivation letter: a short statement about the project or program you are interested in at Harvard of max. 2 pages. Please state why we should support you and what impact your studies will have on society.
- CV
- A summary of max. 2 pages indicating the duration of proposed study, your financial situation and a cost calculation.

We accept applications year round. However, please be aware that the application needs to be handed in until June 15 if you wish your funding to start in 2017.
